Activities Capacity and spots

Book the whole space or just a spot. In a pool lane or an activity room, capacity is controlled automatically and never exceeded.

The problem

A space is not always a court.

In a pool or a room, several people fit at once. With a system built for courts, you either block the whole space or lose control of capacity.

The solution

Spots, not just spaces.

Each space can be exclusive or shared, with a maximum capacity. The system adds up the participants in every booking and stops when it is full.

What you can do

Exclusive or shared

A court is booked whole; a pool lane takes several people at once. You choose the mode for each space.

Capacity that is never exceeded

The system compares participants with capacity and does not let anyone book spots that do not exist, not even with simultaneous bookings.

Participants your way

Minimum and maximum rules per space type, a booking holder who can be an outside contact or an organisation, and guests without a profile.

Frequently asked questions

How is occupancy calculated in shared spaces?

By capacity: it measures how many spots are taken out of those available, not just whether the space is booked or not.

Can I book a spot and the whole space at the same time?

If the space is shared and has spots left, yes. An exclusive booking takes all the capacity and blocks the others.

Does it work with classes and open bookings?

Yes. Classes and open bookings share the same capacity, so neither can push the other over the limit.
