Competition Rankings and ladders

A living ranking for the club: players challenge each other, enter results and the standings recalculate on their own.

The problem

A ranking nobody updates.

Standings on a notice board or a shared sheet go stale within two weeks, and every doubtful result ends in an argument.

The solution

A ranking that moves with every match.

The club creates the ranking and enrols players. They challenge each other, enter results and the standings are rebuilt from the match history.

What you can do

Ladder or Elo points

Choose a ladder, where whoever wins from below takes the opponent's place, or an Elo points system. Individual or pairs.

Challenges between players

A player can challenge someone above them within the range you set. The challenged player accepts or declines, and the challenge expires if nobody plays it in time.

Validated results

The player enters the result and the opponent confirms it, or only staff if you prefer. Friendly matches can count too.

Frequently asked questions

Who adds the players?

Club staff enrol them, adding them at the bottom of the standings.

Who can see the ranking?

You can make it visible to all the club's players or only to those enrolled. It is checked from the player area.

What happens when a result is corrected?

Standings are always rebuilt from scratch by replaying the confirmed results, so voiding an old one leaves a consistent state.
